No matter your traditional holiday celebrations, I encourage you to fill the last few days of this year with tasty, delicious food, that is reminiscent of the best memories of your life.
Traditions, childhood comfort foods and the warm, familiar scents of much-loved dishes are therapeutic. Hope you will be surrounded by some loved ones – in person or virtually, and of course, lots of great food. The holiday table – for two or twenty, is a powerful reminder of how food made with love has an amazing effect on the people around you. So, enjoy the process of cooking your Christmas Day meal, savor the dishes you make — whether traditional or a new recipe and pause and luxuriate in the love of the people in your life – near and afar.
As the year draws to a close, look out next week for some easy, fancy, festive cocktail and mocktail recipes for your New Year’s Eve celebration. And as you contemplate your healthy eating plans for 2021, know that I will focus the blog on flavorful, healthy, and easy recipes but you can also email me for specific ideas.
